Moyers & Company Now Streaming on Public Television Websites and PBS Mobile Apps

American Public Television collaborates with PBS to make the series available to local station websites and PBS apps using the PBS Video Player

May 10, 2013 – Bill Moyers’ TV program Moyers & Company is now accessible to audiences on local public television websites using the PBS Video Player (also known as COVE) as well as PBS mobile apps. This new access to Moyers & Company represents an opportunity for viewers to more easily enjoy Moyers’ interviews, broadcast essays, special reports, as well as links to related digital content.

The move is part of a collaboration between Moyers & Company’s distributor American Public Television (APT) and PBS to deliver select APT programs through the PBS Video Player. Visitors to the PBS Video Player platform on public television sites, video.pbs.org or PBS mobile apps will find Moyers & Company listed alongside many of their favorite public media shows.

“Making Moyers & Company available on the PBS Video Player and PBS mobile apps is important not just because people associate my work with public broadcasting, but because the show is a natural complement to PBS public affairs programs, including Frontline and PBS NewsHour,” said Moyers.

"We are delighted to make Moyers & Company available via the PBS Video Player, which will bring the program to the PBS website, member station websites across the country and our popular mobile apps," said PBS President and CEO Paula Kerger. "Bill Moyers has had a long and prestigious journalism career and we are fortunate to have him in the public media family. Moyers & Company is a terrific addition to the news and public affairs video content that we offer online viewers."

“APT recognizes the value of satisfying viewers who want to catch up on missed programs or watch public television online. We are pleased to have them watch Moyers & Company via the PBS Video Player, and will be adding other select APT programs there over the coming months,” said Cynthia Fenneman, CEO and president of APT.
